Leachate Treatment of Solid Waste Incineration Plant
Technology Introduction
The basic features of solid waste incineration plant leachate include high concentration of pollutants; extremely smelly; complex water quality components; wide range of water quality and quantity; nutrition imbalance and biochemical performance instability.
Based on those features, requirements of processing technology and facility become much higher. The process of" Pre-treatment + UASB + two-stage A/O-MBR + NF + RO " can ensure the higher removal of total nitrogen and organic pollutants, which can guarantee the leachate stably up to standard with reliable operation.
Pre-treatment can remove a great deal of suspended solids and bivalent ions in the leachate, then come into the UASB pool to cut down organic load using the anaerobic reaction, furthermore, come into two-stage A/O tank to strengthen the denitrification ability, so as to ensure the total nitrogen of effluent, while further reducing the concentration of organic pollutants. In addition, A/O effluent flow into ultra-filtration system which intercept organic sludge, finally ensure the effluent water quality through the membrane depth processing system.
Process Flow Chart
The process of "Pre-treatment + UASB + two-stage A/O-MBE + NF + RO " is as follows:
Treatment Effects
Effluent is stable, ensure to reach the table 2 of standards for Pollution Control on the landfill site of Municipal Solid Waste (GB16889-2008)
Advantages
The pre-treatment process adopts chemical precipitation, which could cut down amount of suspended solids and dissolved divalent salt, so as to reduce the follow-up unit of blockage and scaling problems and make sure the stable operation of the whole system.
UASB reactor is used as anaerobic treatment, which has the advantages of high removal rate of organic pollutants; low land occupancy and stable operation.
MBR is used as the main process of biological treatment, it consists of two-stage A/O and UF. While the main effect of primary-stage A/O is using carbonization; nitrification and denitrification to accomplish most of the organic matter degradation and denitrification. Nevertheless, the main effect of secondary-stage A/O is to remove the remaining total nitrogen and further degradation of organic matter, so as to ensure the final effluent reach the standard.
The depth processing system is" nanofiltration (NF) + reverse osmosis (RO)"treatment, which can make sure of high effluent water quality and achieve higher water production rate.
Less surplus sludge; easy to operation and administration and low land occupancy.
